GGG is much more than just power. His foot work, jab and boxing brain are terrific.

To say if he didn't have power he wouldn't be the same... well yeah. You wouldn't be the same if you was born with a fanny instead of goolies.

Yep, lot of Ifs there. If GGG can't impose his power and If Eubank has his Dad's Chin. Might as well just come out and say "I don't like GGG."

We're going to find out if Junior is as tough as his old man. Hopefully he gets well paid for it because he won't be the same afterwards.

And yeah, how the fuck is Rigondeaux fighting Jazza Dickens at the motherfunking Ice Palace in Wales?

That's why you don't sign with one of these rappers or even Richard Schaefer and his new firm. The existing firms are scrambling to keep their position in the market so they're just not going to do you any favours when it comes to making fights against their guys, especially when it's Rigondeaux and the unique set of unoutboxable/commercial disaster characteristics he brings to any promotion.

Exactly. He does have quite a decent amateur record.

Should just say by the way kudos to the Eubanks for taking this fight. I never thought they would. Maybe they're just going for the big payday and reckon he's still a viable commerical proposition even if he gets tonked. But even so well done for stepping up.

This is a good fight for British boxing in 2016!! To have a superstar like GGG fight at the 02 will be special. Think Eubank will give a good account of himself, but he's not on that level of GGG. GGG could outbox him, Lemieux style, break him down...or have a tear up with him? I don't know, GGG boxing is underrated and with the power like that I think he stops Eubank mid to late. It should be a good fight to watch though especially if GGG does try and engage in a tear up, then we would really be in for a treat!!!

On a side note what the fucks Saunders doing? He needs to be fighting asap!!!

Saunders eill be seething if Eubank gets Golovkin, he will be hoping to fuck that Eubank doesnt win.

I think he will have a nervous break down if Eubank does win

Firstly, I don't think BJS will be seething because he had the opportunity to fight GGG but clearly didn't want it. (It hasn't been confirmed with Eubank yet either btw.)
Secondly, he definitely will be hoping Eubank loses and thirdly , he will have a nervous breakdown if Eubank won and it would be all his own fault.
I just think these British boxers have a ridiculously over inflated opinion of their worth. And all because they do more talking than doing.

Would you say Eubank fighting Golovkin is a bigger risk than what was perceived for Fury facing Klitschko?

I personally would say yes, I think there is a bigger gap between eubank and ggg than there was between fury and clit

and I think I would have said that before the fury clit fight, it might just be hindsight talking tho

Yes, I probably think it is.

How is it a risk? And how was Fury fighting Klit a risk? Career high pay days taking a fight where most people expect you to lose. Only risk is if you get beaten so bad your career is over. Eubank gets KOd it doesnt really affect his stock too much at all and if anything will increase his popularity around the world.

BJS will be happy because he knows that Eubank will come after him to rectify his only loss.

no mate , you've got that wrong. in real terms if Eubank beat GGG, they would never get the fight on . Eubank Sr. would be even more ridiculous in his demands than he is now! and BJS would never in this World settle for a 20% split of the purse for example. Add to that the Warren/Hearn thing and the fight would never happen.
and BJS will be pissed off because he KNOWS he can beat Saunders, but he wouldn't bow down to the Eubank demands. and then, there are literally no other fights out there that he can make good money on.
and this is all Team Saunders Fault. It's not enough becoming a World Champ, people like Brook, Saunders need to keep active and need to fight and beat respectable opponents, then the money will come rolling in.
with regards to Ross's comparison to Fury/Klit, it's a very good question. when you say "risk" it depends what you mean. If Eubank lost, he can come back from that and can still earn good money (if his Dad stops being a twat!).
If Fury had lost, it wouldn't surprise me if he found it difficult to get back up there, a. because the authorities and money men in sport would make it difficult for him and b. because of his own mental state. he might've gone off the rails or just said "Fuck it, I can't be bothered with this Shite."
If you mean who would have the better chance, it's strange because the bookies have Eubank longer odds than they had Fury, although if I were to be perfectly honest, I would say Eubank has a better chance than Fury did.
That doesn't mean I think he has much of a chance, because I don't . It just means that I really really thought Fury had absolutely Zero chance.
    there's honesty for you.
