BJS will be happy because he knows that Eubank will come after him to rectify his only loss.
no mate , you've got that wrong. in real terms if Eubank beat GGG, they would never get the fight on . Eubank Sr. would be even more ridiculous in his demands than he is now! and BJS would never in this World settle for a 20% split of the purse for example. Add to that the Warren/Hearn thing and the fight would never happen.
and BJS will be pissed off because he KNOWS he can beat Saunders, but he wouldn't bow down to the Eubank demands. and then, there are literally no other fights out there that he can make good money on.
and this is all Team Saunders Fault. It's not enough becoming a World Champ, people like Brook, Saunders need to keep active and need to fight and beat respectable opponents, then the money will come rolling in.
with regards to Ross's comparison to Fury/Klit, it's a very good question. when you say "risk" it depends what you mean. If Eubank lost, he can come back from that and can still earn good money (if his Dad stops being a twat!).
If Fury had lost, it wouldn't surprise me if he found it difficult to get back up there, a. because the authorities and money men in sport would make it difficult for him and b. because of his own mental state. he might've gone off the rails or just said "Fuck it, I can't be bothered with this Shite."
If you mean who would have the better chance, it's strange because the bookies have Eubank longer odds than they had Fury, although if I were to be perfectly honest, I would say Eubank has a better chance than Fury did.
That doesn't mean I think he has much of a chance, because I don't . It just means that I really really thought Fury had absolutely Zero chance.
    there's honesty for you.

Gennady Golovkin v Chris Eubank Jr deal close - promoter

Middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin is closing in on a deal to fight Britain's Chris Eubank Jr, his promoter says.

Tom Loeffler told the Associated Press that both camps were "working on finalising details".

The fight would take place in England in September, he added.

WBC, WBA and IBF champion Golovkin, 34, has won all of his 35 fights while Brighton's Eubank Jr, 26, has lost just one of his 24 fights.

He successfully defended his British middleweight title for the first time last week, with a fourth-round stoppage of the previously unbeaten Tom Doran.

I'm backing eubank Jr to win this one he's 26 now and all the man he's going to be and he's got the balls to pull this off, he's fearless and will show GGG no respect.

I disagree. I think Eubank has no chance. He will be Lacy'ed or Eubank'ed like his dad.

Its a fantastic fight for Eubank Jr, its better than a Mayweather fight! Win lose or draw he's fought the best around, and to be honest a loss to GGG is nothing to be ashamed of (if it happens), great matchmaking and hopefully a great fight. Boxers should be fighting, and not laying around for easy makeweight fights until they get a title shot against some closeted prima donna who happens to have some dodgy alphabet merchants version of a title. Bloody good luck to him, and well managed by his people (probably dad included).

If he is to fight Golovkin then hats off to him. That's a fantastic thing. I just don't think it will be that competitive though. That's not so much a slur on Eubank, but more that I think Golovkin is that good whence my reference to being Lacy'ed and Eubank'ed. I think Golovkin has the sublimity of a Calzaghe and I want to see him challenged and have his prime drawn out and put on show. I want to see him put on his bum and get up and dominate. Maketh the legend. Maketh the legend. A Eubank is always a good addition to such a path.

GGG will dismantle him can't see Jr lasting the distance.
I don't think Eubank is the man to defeat GGG.

I don't buy into this myth that Eubank beats everyone GGG has beat. What is that based on?
I don't think he beats Lemieux, Murray, Stevens, maybe not Geale, maybe not Matthew Macklin ffs!
And there's been a lot of missed "deadlines" for this fight to happen.
The hype machine has gone into overdrive yet again.

When I said classic , I was talking from a personal view.
GGG will likely punish Eubank Jr , that for me is classic however Jr has shown he is fearless so he has as much chance as anybody GGG has fought.
