Labour membership is up 60,000 in a week. More than doubled in a year. People clearly want Corbyn and the snakes just don't want to listen or hear. Good, resign all of you. Go and join the Tories or form the War Criminal Mafia Alliance or whatever it is you are into, but you are the problem and you are in the wrong party. Blair was the aberration and you are either going to learn that or face oblivion. If Corbyn goes, then Labour goes too.
Because this was a revolt planned a long time ago. The media are a massive part of it.
I think Corbyn will not win Labour the general election and for the party he must stand down because the people we need to vote for the party will not vote for him.
I think you are wrong on this mate. Nye Bevan was correct years ago when he said
"the right wing of the Labour Party would rather see it fall into perpetual decline than abide by its democratic decisions.” Don't let them fool you. Benn and Hodge etc have nowhere near the support that Corbyn does among the electorate willing and likely to vote at a general election. It is not coincidence that the Blairites spend more time writing newspaper columns then campaigning and that the turnout in their constituencies to support the remain campaign was so low. It is only under him that the scapegoating of migrants, something that has even become rampant on this forum and the rise of racism would be addressed. My friends kids were asked the day after the result "when are you going home?" (mixed race) and the Polish Center which has been in Plymouth for over 100 years has had
"Go home Vermin" sprayed over it in the last few days. It's not a game for those of us living in the UK and the Labour supporters that are part and parcel of the problem with the same thinking would not vote for Labour anyway unless they became so right wing that you may as well vote Lib Dem or Tory. The fact is the Tories have moved so far to the right that only a radical left position as occupied by Corbyn would re balance the situation and repair some of the damage done. I was at an FE college last week and my friend who teaches there asked his students who they would vote for in an election and the overwhelming majority said Corbyn. The next generation want change and he is offering that.
I really hope you are right but he has the Blairites, right wing media, Labour voters that went to UKIP and snp, and moderate tories to win over and I can not a see that happening.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
