Not sure why people are having a pop at Golovkin. He didn't chase Brook, he was waiting for Eubank Jr to sign. Jr bottled it so Golovkin was offered the Brook fight. It's not like he has a long list of opponents willing to face him.

O2 arena, 20,000 punters, Sky PPV, HBO. That equals millions of reasons for Golovkin to fight Brook.

Hearn: Eubanks Made The Gennady Golovkin Deal IMPOSSIBLE! - Boxing News
I fucking love this! You can tell when Ross goes into defence mode , because he posts and posts and posts pure fantasy!
Read the comments by Hearn , they made it IMPOSSIBLE to make a deal.
Now you can play psycho analyst and think Hearn didn't look comfortable or whatever you want to think, But Eubank was the challenger and GGG was coming to his back yard, it should've been an easy fight to make and an easy decision for Eubank. After all,Brook has taken it with all the same terms in a heartbeat! And Brook is a World Champion , whereas Eubank is only operating at British Level! Hahahahahahaha.
I was just about to post that. Ross talking shite as usual. Eubanks making unreal demands showing they never wanted the fight just looking for publicity. Heard he will be fighting Adam Ethes on the under card which in all honesty isnt the worst fight.

Cant see how Brook wins this fight and expect a GGG KO in the mid rounds. Pretty frustrating we get Khan Canelo and GGG Brook when we really want Khan Brook and GGG Canelo. Lets hope the losers fight each other
How low are our expectations? Because GGG/Canelo shouldn't even be "what we want", he's about the 4th best Jr Middleweight FFS! And Khan/Brook shouldn't be the goal either. Spence would demolish Khan, demolish!

Our expectations have fallen so far we hope for crap match ups because they seem good compared to the utter shit we keep getting served. Fuck Canelo, fuck GGGs shit resume, fuck boxing!

    Eubank Jr ?

Within 2 days, Eddie Hearn offered Brook the EXACT same contract that Eubank turned down and he signed right away.

The butcher don't care what's on the table he's chopping it up.

Even though I think Triple G should be fighting that bitch ass Cameltoe (the ginger headed donkey rider is not gonna man up and face his mandatory) you have to give kudos to Brook for grabbing the chance of his life when the Eubank's were playing possum. From a technical point of view Brook is probably the best pro fighter GGG has come up against.

Brook's victory over Porter is looking an outstanding piece of form when you see how well Porter has performed since. But I've been reading the 4 pages of GGG fanboys trying to say Brook will get destroyed.

Duran moved up 2 divisions and beat SRL. SRL moved up 2 divisions and beat Hagler.

But Britain's two best 147lbers head two divisions north to engage in fights against much bigger men ?

But then again Vargas pulled out, Arum has said he's not looking to match his guys against Brook which rules out Bradley, Khan is terrified, it's too early for Spence, Porter isn't interested in a rematch, Garcia is looking to avoid any of the top guys at 147 and Thurman wants Garcia or a Porter rematch.

Brook is not in the class of Hagler or Leonard.

Stop making excuses for why Brook is taking the fight. He will be slaughtered inside 6 rounds like Khan was. No way is Brook the best technical fighter, it does not matter how good Brook is, he is just too small.

I dont agree with that. Brook would beat a lot of the top Middleweights. GGG is just a step too far.

WARD is still the ultimate £4£ fighter who is stepping up by fighting the best and can never be accused of taking any easy step in boxing.

Eubank jr would have beat GGG...probably.
I cant wait til Kov smashes Wards face in

Brook would not be able to beat Eubank Jnr never mind a top middleweight. What an absurd thing to write.

You see Master, your wording there sums it up perfectly. Eubank is nowhere near a top MW. you've just put that yourself.
So going back to your cryptic post earlier about "Eubank deserves more.", more than who or what?

Who is a top middleweight if not Eubank then? Aside from GGG, I don't think there's much separating the rest of the division. No idea how Brook would do against those guys either, he may be big enough to fight there but it doesn't negate the fact that he's fought nothing but guys who aren't.

You guys highlighted how much GGG is a pussy by acknowledging Ward stepping up to fight Kov

Ha ha Ross, you're so desperate you have to rewrite history! Look at their records, and even you who professes to know a little bit about the sport will see that against BJS's name is a big fat "W", and against Eubank Jr's is an equally big "L".
Yes Ross that stands for LOSER! It doesn't stand for "well one judge didn't think so"
See I'm even putting your next line down before you get the chance.
BJS is currently a paper champion until he fights and beats someone relevant, and Eubank Jr. Is currently British level until he steps up. These , my pedigree chum are what you call FACTS !!! I know you have trouble spelling that, you get mixed up and spell it FANTASY!
