This is a graph.

There's no detail, no matter how small, that you won't just jump at the opportunity to be wrong about is there?

Back in 2007 when I joined this forum and you were telling me how wonderful the economy was under George Bush I was telling you (Kirkland Laing posts passim) that the economy was about to collapse due to Bush and that we'd be facing the biggest collapse since 1929.

I also told you that politics would become dominated by the fact that supply side and tax cuts and trickle down had created an unequal unbalanced economy and there would be a backlash demanding more equality, that even Republicans would have to admit things were too unbalanced eventually.

I also told you that Bush and the Republicans had used let's say appeals to the white majority to win elections for decades and now that the majority was evaporating the appeals to whiteness were going to come back and bite them in the arse.

In a few short years all this came to pass, the meltdown, the subsequent economy and the politics, all now personified in the person of one ludicrous tangerine ballbag. Predictions are hard, especially about the future, but that's a pretty accurate set of predictions, no?
