Great hearing Mikey say he will go down to 135!
Everybody moving up says that though. It was killing me to make the weight. I'm much stronger at this weight. I'm punching much harder.

You've got to hand it to Frampton though. The first fight at a new weight class is against a bigger longer reach world champ known for throwing massive volume. And in the guy's home country. I'm hoping it's a hell of a fight but Frampton needs a KO to win. I'm going for Santa Cruz. Don't think Frampton has the firepower to stop him.
All true. Just hoping it's true this time because the Frampton we have seen recently I don't think can compete with Santa Cruz. I want to see a better version and a hell of a fight.

I wonder about a guys focus who gives up titles on the scale, takes two yrs off only to return saying he wants to "fast track titles" back to back. If he makes true lightweight again I'll eat my shoe.

Stupid question but I don't know so I'm going to ask. How the hell can it be true no fighter from Northern Ireland has been a multi-division champion? There have been so many great fighters from Ireland, are they usually from Southern Ireland?

A couple of hours playing Football Manager, and now I'm back with the boxing. Really hope that Frampton can turn the books on their heads tonight, and put Santa Cruz on his arse.

His best chance of winning is if Santa Cruz does something to get himself DQ'ed

Santa Cruz should box his span. And stop that continuing glove shaking

Looks like Frampton is already getting marked up from the jab

This is a good fight. I thought Santa Cruz might go down there. Nice hook to the temple.

Frampton landed some shots but I think was more of Cruz being off balanced

Temple shot had him going. Ropes kept him up.

Malignaggi has to be the best boxer-turned-commentator that I have ever heard.
