It went about how I thought. Brook went all in at the beginning and couldn't sustain it. Really weird stoppage. I'm wondering if there was something said in the corner that we don't know. It's as if Brook said "once I start getting hit a few times and stop throwing, then just throw in the towel so I don't have to quit myself."
I also think that GGG just wanted to put on a show for the London fans which is why he just swung and didn't use much technique.
This is the most condescending shit ever, GGG and Sanchez talking about how lucky Brook was that his corner stopped it.
WTF was that stoppage?
Did Brook's corner stop the fight because they though Brook might get knocked down?
He was still landing, and defending himself for the most part. Not to mention he was probably up on most everybody's cards.
Brooks eye looks fine in the interview. Ggg is savage says he didn't feel anything lol
Brits are a bunch of quitters!
If it's not the ref stopping the fight early, it's the corner--and the commentators applaud it.
It was only a matter of time before it got stopped anyway
Much better fight than I expected. I think Brook as much as admitted something was said in the corner during the interview. Seemed as though he was counting on being able to match strength more than he could, kind of fought out of his skin and once he was sapped of what he had he was going out hard. Certainly not a great showing for GGG, but as much as his size advantage will be played up, it's probably hard to look good against a smaller and quicker guy who basically fought a 4 rounder.
