How did Canelo look last night ? I just refuse to pay for any Canelo or golden boy fights so didn't see it. Always think canelos overrated hes always way bigger than his opponent but he does go to the body well but apart from that don't think he has much to offer a good boxer who has good movement should always beat him, think his actual boxing skills are overrated and expect him to get exposed again soon

Canelo looked sharp last night, he looked powerful, he was much bigger than Smith again but there isn't much point in talking about that, that's what he does and we shouldn't be surprised when he comes down to the ring at almost 170.

Smith said in the post fight presser that his punches themselves weren't hurting him, he said that he isn't really that big of a puncher, someone else said that but I can't remember who, I remember them saying his punches are not all that powerful but he has brute strength in the ring.

Fair play to Smith as well, he said he couldn't spar for 3 weeks before the fight but that isn't an excuse, if he could have then the fight would have been more competitive but the outcome would have been the same.

I have not seen the fight but it sounds like Smith was outclassed and I did not expect that. I expected better from him.

Canelo only has issues against Floyd type fighters and fortunately GGG does not fit that bill.

Bodyshot was awesome and canelo is the A side in boxing!

A side means he can dictate weight and everything else...GGG needs to remember that if he really wants the biggest payday of his career.

Eubank jr against a canelo would be an awesome fight right now if BJS is tied up with GGG/JACOBS.

Not true. Canelo has many weaknesses. He will struggle with many types of fighters.

He has stamina issues. When will Canelo rest?

He has slow footwork. Tough to keep GGG off you if you aren't faster than him.

Canelo would also struggle with the huge Jr MWs, that's why he won't fight them.

    Your wrong.

Canelo is the A side. period.

Money talks and GGG team will have to evaluate IF canelo stays at 154!

I think Canelo would give GGG a good fight but would wear down eventually.... GGG via late TKO....

What did his post have to do with being the A side? You're* being silly.

    First off, it's you're. Now.

What are you talking about? Who said a damn thing about money? You say I'm wrong, about what? Are you suggesting Canelo has quick feet? Laughable. Are you suggesting Canelo has good stamina? Laughable.

Stop with the money talk and discuss boxing.

    Let's not be silly.

    You were confused.

    You would pick GGG.

I am undecided on the winner depending on weight.

Unfortunately, whether we like it or not all this A side and B side crap counts..

Smith looked like a powderpuff puncher (he's not), he just couldn't put a dent in Canelo. Decent fight for a onesided one.

Canelo struggled with a Floyd/Lara/Trout style fighter but hasnt fought a fighter like GGG so we dont know how he will fair against him. Id suggest not well as the type of fighter GGG will struggle with is not the type of fighter Canelo is

Has Canelo fought better opponents than GGG? How much would that play in the scheme of things..

No Canelo has not fought someone better than GGG. Including Floyd. GGG is more powerful than Floyd.
