    Huh? Is that so?

Now I know you don't "watch videos" and I know you aren't going to "take my word for it"

In that video Bernie Sanders says and I quote VERBATIM "I think that's an interesting question. I am a Socialist"

    But you were saying?
Trump used to be a Democrat. He was saying a few years ago that rich people like him should pay a big one time wealth tax to pay off the entire national debt. Bernie has never suggested anything as Communist as that. Was pro abortion, pro single payer healthcare and so on. Going on the platform Bernie ran on in 2016 he could comfortably have fitted into the 1960s GOP as a Rockerfeller Republican.

OH MY GOD TRUMP USED TO BE A DEMOCRAT?!?!?! ....are you sure you don't mean "Democratic"

I am not worried about Trump the race is over, the election won, if Trump fails to deliver on what he ran on have no worries those who voted him into office will be the first in line to vote him out of office, myself included.

Based on the platform they both ran on I'd have voted for Bernie given the chance. He would have been exactly what America needs.

I know that Bernie Sanders used to be a socialist Lyle. It's not a secret. Everybody in America who watches or reads the news knows about it. But I'm going on the platform he ran on. On thebasis of that platform I would have voted for him. Almost exactly what America needs. Not as far as immigration goes but that's not really a big issue compared to everything else.

    Uh huh

The Moon used to rotate around Earth.
The Sun used to be the center of our solar system.
Gravity used to be the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.

But that's fine, you don't want to give a simple "you're right Lyle" up, that's ok here take this for your ego, maybe it'll help

I think we'd all agree that if Bernie is not a full blown socialist, he's at the very least high on the "socialist spectrum"

When you're talking about things like free state-run health care and free post secondary, massive wealth distribution, massive estate taxes, gouging the rich... I mean this guy is as socialist as you can get for an American politician.
