I think Andy Ruiz "Carl's Junior" will win this fight by a TKO 8
    HaQuite an image that is.

    BoxNation is covering this.

Looks like just two more fights before the main event, including the one that's on now.

Parker won but didn't look good apparently.

If ruiz had worked harder inthe middle rounds he would have won easily .
A draw may have been a fair result.

I had 116-112 for parker although there was a few you could give the other way.. Ruiz jr is pretty handy when he is motivated, I would guess his fatness hindered him today though he started off well and faded then made a late rally near the end, surely if he was slightly less fat his stamina would improve, he could have won this one. I think now ruiz will drift back to overweight obscurity now, a fight with him and arreola would be fun though.

Wow. Parker is a very lucky man to have won this fight. Not impressive at all. I had it 115-113 Ruiz

Ruiz is a better fighter than Parker, but Parker wants to be a fighter more than Ruiz does. Ruiz let that slide, as Al said, the middle rounds cost him, he did fuck all for 4 or 5 rounds.

Ruiz is a deceptively skilled fighter but sounds like he went flat midway Only into round 5 but in control and didn't think he'd be the aggressor.

Ruiz was robbed. Parker is exposed as a one dimensional fighter. He will make a GOOD ko for someone later on, Parker would.

It definently was not a robbery, close fight but I think parker won, lederman also had parker winning by one or two rounds( i didnt see how he scored the last round).. Parker is pretty good and a worthy 1/4 champion, he has taken on a better level of competition than joshua if you ask me( not much better but still slightly better) and has looked good in some fights and not so good in others(takam and ruiz jr). I think parker can still improve, he needs a stronger jab(was having a hard time keeping ruiz jr back) and not getting involved in brawls like he seems to do every so often, who knows if he can improve now.

I don't think he will be undisputed champion but I also dont think there is many out there who would definently beat him( i think pulev would have him though)

No robbery, I thought Ruiz won 115-113, gave him the first 5 and the last 2 and as was said his being a fatass clearly hurts him, it's insane to me that a pro fighter would allow them self to be in that condition. You could give Parker 5 and 12, so it really wasn't even controversial, but he clearly isn't as talented as Ruiz.

and he has weighed in even heavier... he was close to 300 lbs for his pro debut... amazing... he is actually fairly good, I hope this motivates him to give it everything he has but i suspect he will go like sam peter after he fought vitali and just go back to his super fat ways and fade away.
