Have to echo the above. Linares for as sharp as HE is has can be rattled by loopy or far less seasoned hitters. Combined with Linares chin and heart to pay it back, Loma would be a step ahead and have laser sighting on his shots.

Arum has said Loma's next fight will definitely be at 135 and that he has no problem making a Linares fight. I'm sure they would like to match Loma with Beltran, should Ray win the title but the timing may be slightly off. I would prefer to see him face Berchelt, then move up for Beltran, Linares, Garcia etc.

Linares says he is ready for Loma or Garcia.

The one thing about Linares I will say is that he has the skill set I think to give Loma some problems, but I just don’t see him lasting the distance. Garcia would just annihilate him. Loma would take a few rounds to figure him out first.
