yeah 70-30 seems a bit too much of a gap

I would not care as long as I get the sum I wanted but pride and principle means that you do not want your opponent to get way more than you.

That is a major factor in this as they hate each other so much that they do not want to give the other an inch.

It is part of the negotiation and I think they will come to a compromise.
