Price did knock down Hunter but Price needs to fight 20 C level fighters and build up his confidence before moving up to B level.
How many years will that take?

If he can get x4 more undercard fights this year then that might be a start for his 4th comeback in 2018..time is running out on Price.

A 6' 6"guy who cannot close on an opponent one he has him hurt has no place in boxing--a sport that seldom has a happy ending. I feel a tad of pity for him. He pushed to his limits but cold no exceed them. Better to have tied and failed than to not have tried at all.

Is this a joke? I mean he could be some kind of lower tier domestic gatekeeper, but the guy obviously can not fight, of course it's over.

Unhappily I agree, failure to close when the opportunity came (gas?) but most of all failure to use his attributes to boss the fight.

It's up to him really if he wants to continue fighting but what's the point? He'll never be elite and even contender status would be a stretch. Does anyone even want to see him fight again?

Does not matter how long it takes. It keeps him busy and earning a living fighting at a level he is comfortable at.

No trainer, or no amount of cardio is going to change what Price has become. His problems are all in his head. His total lack of belief in himself means that he's not punching properly or with any real conviction. He's robbed himself of any opportunity to win of fight of any significance. There was a time when you could make the argument that he's still got a punchers chance, still got that big right hand, well that's a shadow of its former devastating self. All credit to Hammer, but he should never have got anywhere near Price.

World level is the only level he needs to achieve..I don't know if it's a physical or mental thing with David.

He seems like a nice guy and he's obviously a bit better than Audley.

Gasses out - but i'm sure they've worked on his fitness, so I can only think it's his mental state wearing him out

yeah its a mental issue it looks like

if he is gonna continue I think he needs a trainer who is always calm and relaxed

and obviously gives good simple tactical advice

    but what do I know

Listening to people blame his weight/Dave Coldwell is nonsense, to me. He fought/reacted no different on Saturday to how he has in the past when a stone and half lighter. There's a difference between being chinny and terrified of being hit to the point of not being able to handle any pressure/adversity. He physically drains so quick because he's shitting himself.

Unfortunately for him the game is up.

He might have been better off if Thompson and Teper had been clean. Them being filthy drug cheats kinda wiped the slate clean for him and possibly removed the need for him to have a good look in the mirror and face up to his shortcomings.

Price was bordering on cocky about it. They cheated, doesnt count, didnt happen. I killed Joshua in sparring.

Like Bruno he seems mentally fragile and dramatically tire in the fight. Price also should have held on more when hurt and survived to beat Hammer.

David Price is a sad sack, a sorry excuse for a HW prizefighter!

Once he quit against Thompson we should have known he was done. Audley Harrison sucked but at least he had balls.

Let's make one thing clear..audley Harrison has not got more balls than Price.

    That is just not possible.
