The U.S. invented baseball..... but the Caribbean is the mecca of baseball.
The Caribbean produces great players, but it's no Mecca of baseball....nobody is saying "Gee I can't wait to play at the historic Estadio Quisqueya"....that ain't like Fenway Park or Wrigley Field or what have you.
