Dropping 13 pounds in 9 months is nothing. The injury actually helped him weight wise because it gave more time to get back to normal size. Remember, Kell carried the extra weight a very short amount of time. And that's critical. Put on 5 pounds and then drop it. Then put on 5 pounds and carry it for a year then drop it. You will see a distinct difference.

Just put all the excuses to the side. We have a great fight here and that happens very rarely in this sport. Enjoy it.
He was struggling massively to make 147 for fights before the Golovkin fight.

It's not an excuse to wonder how much getting back down to 147 is going to take out of him. It's not like he lives a monastic lifestyle in between fights. He would probably have been 200 going into camp for this fight.
