I haven't had a chance to read all of the post cuz it's pretty lengthy and I'm supposed to be working.
I did see this today though in the paper, is it 8 fighters from 2 weight divisions in a knockout tournament over 12 months or something like that.
I just can't see that the 2 best fighters of any division will agree to go in for this, surely they 2 best fighters would make a helluva lot more money arranging a fight between themselves rather than going through a tournament.
Also if it was around the middleweight sort of area then you can already count Gingerpubes out because he would have to work within the tournaments ''artificial deadlines'' and we all know how much he hates them.
It's a shame because in an ideal world this is how it should work because it would guarantee the best fighting the best but you can't just create something whack Muhammad Ali's name on it and then say ''win this and you are the best'' wouldn't unifying a division mean more than this?
