I may be mistaken, but didn't Finito knock Sorjaturong out before he (Sorjaturong) moved up to beat Humberto?
Yeah he did and it was all over in 2 rounds. I still would have liked to see a rematch at 108.
You wanted a rematch after 2 round result? What happened?
Lopez dropped Sorjaturong once in the 1st and twice in the 2nd to end the fight with the WBC minimumweight title on the line. Sorjaturong got caught with a big right at the end of the 1st that put him down on his face. I don't think he really recovered in the minute rest. He was getting hit quite a bit and he may not have ever been able to compete with Lopez but the stoppage was premature in my opinion.

Sorjaturong moved up to 108 and stopped Gonzalez in a FOTY bout in 1995 for the WBC & IBF Light Flyweight titles.
We have witnessed some wonderful fighters in the 90 's and onwards , Floyd - RJJ -JCC , however its hard to argue that Ricardo FINITO Lopez wasn't the most complete boxer.
He had Floyds counterpunching / Roys speed / he could hit with big power , fight going forward or backwards , he really was that good.
