So he's "done with boxing"..... will proceed to make a mockery out of it by fighting someone who's NOT a professional boxer. Furthermore, he hasn't "enjoyed the sport for some time now." He thumbs his nose at boxing fans, who have made him a multi-millionaire. Yet, you're one of his biggest fans, and presumably are in favor of gifting him his "50" after his win over McGregor. Does that pretty much sum it up?

As a follower of the boxing here's the takeaway: Floyd is no longer relevant in the main stream of the sport

He holds no title, he's not chasing down any titles, he's not fighting a challenger, he's not fighting any up and comers, he's not fighting any boxers.

At this point right now Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a circus act, he's not in a pound for pound discussion, he's still got money bless him, but with his lifestyle that's going to fry up.....he's not getting younger, he's not getting better, it's all downhill for him now and the saddest part is.......what if an MMA fighter of all people, an MMA fighter who has never boxed as an amateur or professionally takes his 0.....surely that's the ultimate egg on the face moment for the sport of boxing no? Surely that's the biggest ding to a legacy that could ever happen right? Bigger than Douglas vs Tyson, bigger than Tarver over RJJ II, bigger than James Toney making Holyfield quit, bigger than Berbick defeating Ali.....it would be just a horrible mark on his career.
