The fact is he floated a turd of a lame excuse in the first place to terminate a man Trump has previously held praise for and I believe impeding the ongoing investigation was at the root.

I put it right up there with the hypocrisy also shown by POTUS who massaged a message when it benefited him politically and/or personally. Many Dems had a serious case of knots in their arse when Comey appeared to jump the gun and put himself into the spotlight immediately in front of the election but in hindsight you can fault their luke warm candidate and baggage more so. I'll do 101 things today and the one that will not make the list is pretending to defend let alone listen to anything Maxine "IMPEACH NOW" Waters says. That said whatever outrage some dems had and their questions about Comey had erupted prior to this official investigation being launched. Trump has never shown respect for the wider Intelligence community, he's publically mocked and dismissed them and has been more than rabid with the FBI involving leaks. You do not remove the head of an investigation involving yourself and our election once it's underway. Especially when you crack jokes and yuk it up with the Russian foreign minister in the oval office the very next day. They are laughing right in our face from OUR house.

That card was floated multiple times and Trump ran with it on the campaign. Again with the Clintons and the backwards view. Keep hoping Trump changes another flip flop and decides to "lock her up". Fss we're in the now, this is today and Clinton and her pants suits are not sitting in the WH. Sheesh this morning watching that interview it sounds like he got his panties in a massive knot and felt upstaged by Comey. Asked about being told 3 times he's not under investigation, having dinner and asking Comey...thought Potus interfering in ongoing investigations was once frowned on ...and he mumbles "well I heard" at first. Trump praised Comey for opening an investigation into Hillary in 2015, then criticized call him in July of 2016 for letting SHillary off the hook, praised Him in October, then criticized him again in November when he let Hillary off the hook again, Praised Him in December, then thanked him yesterday 3 times, and then criticized him and fired him.

Clinton/Dems Praised Him in July and then criticized him again in October, praised him again in November when he cleared Clinton the second time, then criticized him again when she lost the election but then praised him in January when it looked like there was an investigation into Trump.
