Ken Shiro squeaked by Ganigan Lopez with a razor thin majroty decision. 115-113 x2, 114-114.
Daigo Higa destroyed Juan Navarette in the 6th. Dropping him 3 times in the last round. Higa is a bad little man!
Hassan won the 1st round. Moving nicely and boxing well. Murata barely threw anything and just followed him around.
N'Jikam looks really good. Loose and using his jab to set up his shoots. Murata just not active enough. They both trade with 30 seconds to go in the round with N'Jikam getting the better of it.
The 3rd was closer with Murata starting to open up more. Trying to find a home for his right. He is just getting outworked tho. 3-0.
Both guys landing some hurtful bodyshots in the 4th. N'Jikam landed a solid uppercut. Murata land a straight right that drops N'Jikam with about 20 seconds to go. He gets back up. Another right hurts him. He goes down again but the ref rules it a slip. N'Jikam makes it out of the round.
Excellent 5th. Murata comes out looking for the finish. N'Jikam ain't having none of it. Both guys trading big shots throughout. A right sends N'Jkam off balance into the ropes with 20 seconds to go again. Not sure if he was hurt. Even round.
I'm probably going to get flack for this, but Murata has no one to blame but himself for this robbery. He didn't let his hands go enough.
Gilberto Mendoza (WBA) has ordered an immediate rematch, he publicly apologised and called it a disgrace, even offered his scorecard - Murata 117-110
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Rematch today with the same Japanese undercard champs.
The vicious Daigo Higa is against a Frenchman that lost against Ashley Sexton (Brit level fighter) and Ken Shiro-Pedro Guevara looks 50-50 on paper.
Bookies not even priced up "method of victory" market. Bores.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
They aired this at 7:15 am on ESPN2 but nodded out I at the 19 hours awake mark. Looks like Murata stopped N'Dam on his stool after 7th. Murata was comfortably ahead on cards at time.
