Way too fast and clever which is why he never lost.
Not at middleweight he wouldn't. Too small. GGG rips him a new one.

Golovkin wouldn't have laid a glove on him and Floyd would easily boxed his head off because GGG is a sitting duck who never moves his head, the size wouldn't have made a difference

Easy nights work for Mayweather, shame we never got to see it though.

To be fair, Prime Floyd was super featherweight through super lightweight. Floyd doesn't beat GGG at middleweight just like GGG has zero chance against Ward at light heavyweight.

That being said, Floyd at 154 actually beats Golovkin at 160 in a similar fashion that he beat Alvarez at 154.

The clinic that Alvarez is about to put on GGG will validate my statements

If Canelo beats GGG I would be shocked but credit to you frozensolid and redleather for making the bold prediction.

It'll be credit to Canelo pickers if they're proved wrong and admit they're wrong.

All the Golovkin haters (not calling all Canelo pickers haters) will say Canelo is shit if he gets whopped - Floyd's leftovers. Catchweight king. Protected by Oscar. Blah, blah, blah...

And by the way the bookies don't even make Golovkin a big favourite. The odds are virtually identical to Brook-Spence, which just about everyone accepts is 50-50.

I don't think there's much in the fight now. I have nothing against Canelo , I quite like the guy, and I think he stands a decent chance. my problem is De La Hoya. the guy is a prick. people criticised GGG for fighting (in their minds) mismatches like Brook etc. the only reason he had to do that was because he got dicked around by De La Hoya and his marinating bollocks. He also got pissed about by them other 2 timewasting jokers Eubank Jr. and Saunders.
some of the matchups and catchweights Oscar has put Canelo in have been quite disrespectful to the sport imo. And I don't think for one second Canelo was ducking GGG or scared , he would've probably fought him at any given time.
But in saying all that, I hate to say it, But I reckon has timed this perfectly to give Canelo the best opportunity he's gonna get.

Floyd would put a clinic on against GGG even more so than Canelo. Canelo is going to put the same show on that Floyd did to him against GGG. Everyone hates Floyd we know blah blah but this GGG hype is retarded (sorry my daughter said we can't use that word) I'm not an expert but I do love boxing. I grew up in a boxing community the Mustins Olympic coach. I just think sure GGG has more power than Floyd but did we forget Pretty boy before he and PAC had to eat 13,000 calories a day? I think GGG reminds me a lot of Cotto. Just slow. No head movement and Floyd would see those body shots coming 3 seconds before he avoided them. Just an opinion. Glad to be back fellas.

I think it incredibly daft to think Alvarez is somehow elevated by Golovkin not dominating or knocking out Jacobs. Quite where this idea that it's now either a 50/50 fight or one that GGG gets schooled in, came from I don't know. Golovkin beat Jacobs, who might well be the best pro he has fought, and certainly the heaviest. He didn't get exposed, dominated or soundly beaten. He won.Canelo is not Jacobs x 2. He is not the next best P4P after Floyd, he is not shit either, he does a lot of things well, but he is not on the same level as Golovkin and you don't have to be a blind biased GGG Fanboy to see that. Chavez Jr is no warm up for someone as relentless as Golovkin and while Canelo is very accurate he is about to walk into a cascading maelstrom of well aimed and painful intent. He will be stopped.

So Floyd doesnt beat GGG at middleweight, but he beats a 160lb GGG whilst weighing 154lb? Sounds like one and the same thing no? Unless you're meaning a hypothetical where Floyd is forced to weigh in at 160lb? Forcing a fighter to weigh something he is not comfortable with is a ridiculous idea that will never catch on. Floyd never beat Canelo at 154lbs.

Whichever way you slice this, your statements suck balls.

It never ceases to amaze that you have to either be a hater or a fanboy in some peoples eyes. There's an awful lot of agro here for a seemingly innocuous 'Leave Britney Floyd alone' thread.

Ive said it before and I'll say it again. Floyd is great, there aint one of us here who wont in 20 years time be getting into it with some snot faced prick who thinks the big deal at the time is the best thing since sliced bread. That said, on an even playing field, at a time when this conceivably could happen, I only see one winner and it aint Floyd. Yes little men have moved up to beat big men since time and memorial and history proves this. History also proves that no matter how great they are, their path to championships at higher weight classes are generally very carefully cultivated. If Floyd went after a middle weight title, aint no way he takes aim at GGG.

If we're talking pound for pound. I got no problem with Floyd beating anyone at any time in any weight class.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
