Yeh didn't like that. And he's tall and stationary in spots. Oddly think Porter gives him tougher fight than Thurman but we'll see.
He will play with Porter, trust me. Porter is game , but Spence will see him off no problem.
Going by that fight? He is clueless going anywhere but forward. Ricky Hatton would have looked Duran against him.

Brooks surgeon has just said on 5 live that the left eye has the same injury as the right did after GGG and will need the same operation.
If thats the case then thats the last fight we ever see Kell Brook in ;-)

Brook is very skilful and slick. He could make any fighter in the division feel uncomfortable . But Spence overcame that and went on to pull away.
Porter is very one dimensional and doesn't and wouldn't be able to pose half as many problems for Spence.

I fully agree with you (the Hatton stuff was tongue in cheek) Spence looked "poor" in places solely because Brook is so good. Overall he backed up his terrific talent by showing all the important stuff that separates elites from champions.

On sober reflection young Spence probably just had his hardest fight in the welterweight division.

The Hitman would take out most of the current HW division.

Really though doubt Porter could put him on back foot.

And it's not like he panics and backs for survival. He takes time and shows good composure. Sometimes backing up means helping your opponent run into something, as shown.

And he will only be more confident and more calm after this. I mean it wasn't really going his way, he was a bit confused and he turned it around. Now he knows he can reset himself and start over mid fight.

Agreed. It's a massive gap between a guy looking clueless to him showing he can actually adapt and show different tools than what thought he had prior to the bell.
