It is a joke that they will try and sell Brook v Khan now when both are damaged good coming from losses and severe lack of confidence.

All the ingredients for a classic Sky PPV fight. No way will it be at Wembley now in front of 90,000 fans.

    I'm not sure.

OK, so he was getting a bad beating from GGG by the end, but Brook looked pretty good against Spence to me. Maybe he just ran into a very very good fighter at welterweight, which could have happened whether or not he fought Golovkin.

It looked to me like Brook cut weight very well for this fight. He has always been too big for welter, and I remember him gassing out at halfway in several fights before GGG.

i don't think moving up in weight and losing harmed his career, it didn't do Ray Robinson too much legacy damage. It was also a different eye, so nothing to do with the old injury. Just unlucky.

If the GGG injury was fixed so well that it stood up to Spence for 11 rounds, it's possible that the new injury could be fixed just as well?

Well with hindsight maybe the GGG flight did damage Brook more than we first thought. But don't forget, these guys are trying to make as much money as they possibly can . Brook would've neede 2, maybe 3 unification fights to earn the money he did against GGG .
Who's to say he wouldn't have got beat by Spence anyway?(and he probably would've got beat) and then the earning potential goes down.
It could be the end for Brook (with the exception of a fight I don't want to see happen with Khan,) but his earnings potential couldn't have been surpassed.

Who cares how much money Brook makes/made? Seriously, since when did anyone care about what fighters of the past were making per fight? This is the Floyd disease that has infected modern fans/kids.

Brook has just fought in back-to-back PPVs, one packing out the O2 the other 25,000 in a football stadium. He's funking minted. He's a 30-year-old man that, if sensible, can spend the rest of his days doing whatever he wants when he wants without ever worrying about a roof over his head, a motor, his kids private school fees and what his missus racks up on her bank card.

The Khan fight can't happen with both of them coming off KO losses. And it wouldn't sell Wembley out regardless, not before, not now, not ever. Khan is utterly delusional about his appeal outside the muslim community and Brook is not a crossover star.

For some perspective - Brook-Spence was predicted to hit around 250,000 buys. Bellew-Haye did 750,000. AJ did 450,000 with Molina and Martin. There's a huge difference between what excites serious boxing fans and "casuals"

That's depressing that Bellew vs Haye did that many buys. Funny to think back to Haye's barking of what he would do to Joshua. He's get murdered!

After reading this post I changed my mind about Brook-Khan and realized that was a bad attempt at humor but seriously considering the damage he should move on as depicted in American westerns bu riding into the sunset. Putting his ego in his back pocket should be the start because he doesn't have a thing to prove. IMO.
