This will be the biggest farce in boxing history, they're not getting my doe. Floyd will slaughter a bloke who has never once had a professional boxing match. I might as well put my hand up. I can understand McGregor going for this, he will never receive such a pay day again, but we're all gullible fools as fans putting up with this shit.
Put Floyd in with him under MMA conditions and he gets destroyed, under boxing rules McGregor is going to look totally inept and foolish.

Just thinking. If Floyd was the businessman he gets credit for being he would have spent his retirement years secretly training how to check kids, sprawl and get back to his feet. Then immediately after this debacle in the ring says "let's run it again in the Octagon". That shit would break the bank.

What a load of shit. Anyone that watches this is a full on retard. I have zero interest in seeing Floyd fight someone like this. He was taking the piss a lot over the last decade but this seals it all with a hateful kiss. He has no respect for boxing. He is like a banker that wants to laugh as he gets away with a robbery. James Toney would kick your arse, Floyd and you know it.

Speaking of James Toney at least he was brave enough to step onto another man's turf. Floyd is a boxer, who last time we saw him, was still somewhat up there in terms of skills. To try and make millions fighting someone who isn't even a boxer and has no professional experience is beyond the pale. Shame on anyone that buys into this. We as boxing fans should know better and not encourage it. This is just plain wrong.

Floyd and Conor know it's a farce, but also know that most people will watch it. Most of us would do the same thing in their position if we could make that kind of money

And James Toneys reward for taking all that punishment?

He now speaks a different language with no money in the bank.

James Toney is a great fighter but Floyd is on a different level.

Are you saying that if you were in Floyds position and had a 100million payday on offer you wouldn't take it?!

    100 million dollars each?

just shows that the boxing world makes its money from the general public rather than the boxing fan

I just can not believe this is happening.

I am shocked and surprised as Primo (and Batman) must be.

What a complete wanker Floyd is. I hope McGregor starts to get dirty with him and roughs him up MMA style and gets disqualified.

    Hope the fight bombs.

Well now it's a reality i'll certainly watch it, you guys saying you wont aren't kidding anyone, 95% of you ponce shitty streams, you wont buy GGG-Canelo either, so why is this any different?

Also if Badou Jack-Nathan Cleverly, Young Davis-vs-? etc make up the undercard it will be a good event for proper boxing nerds regardless of the silly exhibition.

No, I wouldn't take it. I would think myself fortunate to have got away with mugging the public off as much as I had already and quit while I was ahead. There is only so much money you need. Floyd is rich because people are idiots and make excuses for him all the time. It's a meaningless fight and people should boycott. Not even worth a choppy illegal stream. Nothing.

That would be great. I would for sure buy that one. I'd be very interested in mayweather fighting in UFC if he trained for it. Conor would probably win but Floyd could at least make it interesting

It would be cool but Floyd don't take risks anymore. There's about as much chance of that happening as there is Conor winning this fight.

Sad thing is all the real interest will be in stacking the undercard with promoted fighters. If we're lucky Gervonta Davis defends his belt against a clothes mannequin from 'Old Navy' or maybe Badou Jack spars a heavy bag while Floyd stands in front of the camera talking about himself. Micky Bey vs the son of Doink the Clown maybe Mayweather just renting out the sport with this trash. Floyd wins, yeh so what. Floyd loses..say a light fixture falls from ceiling..we'll never hear the end of it.

gimmicks like this make a fight fan very cynical. I'll be watching Cotto vs Kamegai

If Mayweather goes to 50-0 because of this, boxing should be abolished once and for all.

I see they're wearing ten ounce gloves just in case the leprechaun does manage to land something half decent. I'll still be watching though. There'll be at least two half decent fights on the undercard.
