I would be very interested in this fight if it were MMA rules, but a boxing match is an obvious win for Floyd.

Floyd isn't stupid. This is an easy win but also a massive money maker. The whole MMA crowd plus all the boxing fans and all the haters tuning in to hope Connor lands one on him. PPV will probably break records on the night. Its definitely the first time two most popular fighters of different sports clash. That's big money man.

Its daft but i tell you one thing. I will certainly watch it.

This will be the biggest farce in boxing history, they're not getting my doe. Floyd will slaughter a bloke who has never once had a professional boxing match. I might as well put my hand up. Speaking of James Toney at least he was brave enough to step onto another man's turf. Floyd is a boxer, who last time we saw him, was still somewhat up there in terms of skills. To try and make millions fighting someone who isn't even a boxer and has no professional experience is beyond the pale. Shame on anyone that buys into this. That would be great. I would for sure buy that one. I'd be very interested in mayweather fighting in UFC if he trained for it. Conor would probably win but Floyd could at least make it interesting

It would be cool but Floyd don't take risks anymore. There's about as much chance of that happening as there is Conor winning this fight.

Sad thing is all the real interest will be in stacking the undercard with promoted fighters. If we're lucky Gervonta Davis defends his belt against a clothes mannequin from 'Old Navy' or maybe Badou Jack spars a heavy bag while Floyd stands in front of the camera talking about himself. Micky Bey vs the son of Doink the Clown maybe Mayweather just renting out the sport with this trash. Floyd wins, yeh so what. Floyd loses..say a light fixture falls from ceiling..we'll never hear the end of it.

gimmicks like this make a fight fan very cynical. I'll be watching Cotto vs Kamegai
