It's complete BS. Hope Kovalev lays the hurt down big time and doesn't let up until its over. It's a shame Kov is not a high output fighter. It would make it easier against a sly octopus like Ward. 'Oh, but he's all about the skills' weep his supporters. Right so if I hug Walrus I am actually displaying exceptional boxing skills now? You couldn't make this up. Where's Jeremy Corbyn when you need him? He wouldn't be having any of this.

    Kovalev KO round 5.

It wouldn't break my heart either way, but I think I want Ward to win. In truth , I just want the best man to win.

I do not know who I want to win.

I like Ward and the way he handles himself and family.

I am a fan of Kov and his story. He is hungry and hurt and always gets the short end of the purse which is unfair.

He comes from impoverished background and taken real gambles and the lower end of purses so that he could prove himself. That is a great story.

I admire his perseverance. Especially without achieving his amateur goals, to still have the belief. And turning that belief into reality is very impressive.

The promotion is doing really badly. This could be like Roy Jones versus Hopkins 2 where Jones was on a percentage as his purse and ended up fighting for free.

So Ward gets guaranteed 7 Million and Kovalev percentage of sales? Either Ward was hoping he'd turn it down or Kovalev was personally doing the negotiations in his native tongue over the phone. He'll be eating cat food after this one

Exactly... Kovalev was p*issed he got jobbed and wanted his belts back. He tried to goad Ward into the fight by calling him a chickensh*t and ward feigned retirement and then decided if he had to fight Kovalev or get sued, he would get Duva to void the predetermined terms that were signed during the first fight agreement rematch clause and is retaliating with the roc nation lawyers and accountants. This is all just another way of trying to get under kovalev's skin and put a shine on roc nation who will probably try to sign Kovalev when its time to reup with Duva.

In the meantime, Kovalev just wants his belts back.. apparently at all costs. One can only hope its similar to when Roy Jones, told his lawyer regarding the rematch with Griffin ("I don't care what it costs, get me the rematch!")
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
