Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
In many ways you can forget about youtube and dvds soon.
The Top Rank deal with ESPN will be gangbusters. There's more to it than Pac/Horn being on ESPN. Top Rank is doing their own subscription channel, you're probably not going to find better versions than the original archives. And ESPN will be giving TR their entire boxing collection to add on.
That will be a crazy amount of boxing, and high quality footage. You can be confident people will rip it off. Or you can just pay the 7$ a month or whatever it is and have access to it all.
I would do the seven dollar a month thing, I've been waiting for it. I do watch the fights on you tube I hate to admit it but I've never hooked that up to my tv. I know I could even do it with my phone. I just like the DVD idea for convience and to physically have it. I will do this you tube to my tv thing but I am going to hunt online for a DVD that has the majority of the years fights. I like dvds so shoot me. I like tech but I like to keep things simple to avoid government surveillance. If they put together the books I buy, my political views and the fact I like a violent sport it's possible they will come to me. Plus I just donated money to catholic charities which probably puts me on a radical list
yeah if you are planning on making a full on collection of them then it makes sense but if you just want to have a quick watch because you missed them first time round then I'd go for YouTube.
I will often buy a DVD or Bluray of a concert that I could quite easily stream on YouTube because I like to have the physical copy of it.
