I saw that this morning, working in bodily injury claims i know that the dude could get fucking thousands in compensation regardless of the of tv footage showing that he was fine.

2 year soft tissue injury to the neck back and shoulders, severe psychological trauma, loss of earnings, the cctv footage alone would secure him at least 6k if he played his cards right, probably even more, a judge would look at that footage and give him what he wanted despite the fact that he got up and went for a pint.

@Batman I would think if the bus was operated by a municipality they would even get more. Some injuries are funny, right after the accident you feel alright, the next day you try to get out of bed to find you can't move and have excruciating pain. It's a strange thing, probably partly due to shock, and other medical explanations I have no knowledge of, you must study the stuff so you would know better than I.

For me, no offense to bus bloke, but it was a one off. The Swed's proved over course and distance that they can take their hits. If he wants a shot at their crown, I need to see him do it again.

The pedestrian appeared to be clear of the racetrack when the bus came swerving by, unable to negotiate Turn 1 at the speed it was going.
The bus driver should be kindly offered some other line of work.
