I mean it's quite uncontroversial stuff but if you think those working in the public sector do not deserve a pay rise at least in line with inflation at 2.9% then you are aligning yourself with the Tories. In the Labour and every other parties manifesto they guaranteed a pay rise of above 1% for firemen etc. Even under the worst "new labour" government when I was a public sector worker for the CPS we were given a pay rise above inflation and certainly above 1%. So yes
Only the Tories
There's certainly no shortage of Labour/Lib Dems queued up and ready to protest whenever
THE GOVERNMENT fucks up and yet they're still for bigger, "better", more invasive, cradle to grave womb to tomb Central Government even if that Government is idiotic and makes big mistakes like the ones made at Grenfell or in any other council estate with similar issues.....didn't PM Tony Blair
LABOUR have some kind of 'Decent Homes Initiative' hmm? And that did what now?
Who's not paying taxes and why the fuck is that first on your list? The government had more than enough money to fix the problems and they just never saw fit to address those problems. Not the Tories as you say, but also not Labour or Lib Dems. The Lib Dems of Southwark Council only had to pay a small fine for the fire at Lakanal House which took the lives of 6 people in 2009, but that's not enough to keep Jeremy Corbyn from grandstanding on this issue.
I feel sorry for people dependent on government....fucking abusive relationship that one. In the United States for the 1949 Housing Act entire communities (only the "poor" ones mind you) were destroyed and then those people who owned or rented homes were placed in prison like project buildings and the inner cities went to shit....but hey good intentions is how we measure the successes of left leaning policies we certainly can't judge them based on results.
I don't want the government doing much for me and because I care about others I do what I can to provide for those in need via charity....I suppose that makes me some kind of vile person since I do not wish for another of my fellow citizens to become a slave to government.
