Going today Linares and Spence among a few. The gears that Spence puts on a double jab then turns it over to hook either hand is all one brisk motion when done right. Combos indeed have categories. The ones a fighter is known for that are incorporated throughout. Or the finisher type of reading the opening available right away and putting in numbers 1,2,3. Trained punches taped together. And some flurry combos that are more about punch and get out or just about blinding a guy for a temp reprieve. There is something beautiful about any combination ending with the uppercut. It's such a random direction punch that can leave you in a extremely vulnerable position for a topple or for follow up.
Santa Cruz has it down. I love when hand speed generates combos. THz uppercut needs to be thrown close in and with no tell-tale dip A you say,its a dangerous punch to throw.Bu I too love combo fighters
