Figueroa and his brother have been training in Indio with Joel Diaz. Since the DeMarco fight Omar promoted a couple fight cards in the McAllen area.

I saw and interview where he said it was to spend time with his family. Then he decided to change things up by training in Indio.

Anyone seen Figueroa training etc? Long road back a yr and a half out and jumping up full 147. Always like Guerrero but definitely on a bad run now. Not a bad card but going head to head with HBO triple header. Going to be a busy Saturday!

Nice, this dude puts on a show. I remember that fight he had with the Japanese fellow who's name I forgot. That was a battle.
He always seemed like a decent kid. I know he had the option of going into another pro sport, I think it was baseball. I hope he continues to have success

That was one of the best fights I have ever seen. Non stop action the entire fight. That was also the best card ever hands down for me. I can't remember all the fights on it but I know that Berto vs Soto Karass was the main event. Every fight was awesome
