Rios trying to work way in with own body work but paying heavy tax for his trouble. Vargas waves him in and smiles and is working a hard long right hand overtime. 2-0 Vargas.

Rios really tucked in and having success start 3rd, good shots to Vargas gut. Vargas waves him in again on ropes, and again and answers with 5 upperhook shots to Rios!! Vargas felt it to the body end round! Held onto arm of Rios who had decent bounce back round. 2-1 Vargas

Vargas back on with long to short attack with both hands. Lets himself back to ropes and fights well coming off, absolutely chews Rios up keeping him center of ring. 3-1 Vargas. Rios is going to have to walk thru it to have shot

I can respect a ref who gets right to "hey you wanna fuck around don't" warning Rios

How was Tabiti v Cunningham if you caught it?

Vargas turning this into one way traffic in 6th. Starting to drop nice variety of shot. Nice to see a long fighter who finally fights his height

Vargas a cocky dude. Rios warned again for pushing down on head. Vargas pretty shifty, beats you long and high then ducks in with shoulders and comes underneath with some slicing punches. Rios trying man but he is the definition of 'stuck' on the end in 7th. If they tossed Rios a ladder and a bat no points off at this point.

Corner just gave Rios the Mick from Rocky speech!

Entertaining. Tabiti looked sharp and won an easy decision. Impressed with some of those crisp combinations with good uppercuts mixed in. Cunningham has a chin on him.

There ya go! Rios on full gas in 8th and hurts Vargas with left hook last minute of 8th. Much better Rios effort for round. 6-2 Vargas.

Rios warned for punching him on the arse apparently . Rios is feeling it in 9th, coming in with purpose and Vargas volume has dropped. Rios also slowed last minute. Rios may have let him back in eating a few uppercuts from Vargas, coin flip round 6-2-1

Gritty body trading mid 10th, Vargas back to some pop on his punch and Rios more and more stepping back and adjusting trunks taking deep wind. Very well may have run his last sprint and needs some KD's to make difference. 7-2-1 Vargas

Thanks man. Tabiti has look about him just wonder about killer instinct. Cunningham always a road warrior for sure, mass heart and seems like he always gets clipped at some point.

Stub Hub with some booing as Vargas in complete control 12th, heart of Rios on his sleeve but Vargas has a pretty deep tool box working Rios just boring in. Annnd Vargas waves him in for the exclamation point at final bell. Should be Vargas pretty wide. Can see Vargas def sticking around as top player
