I used to love watching Katsidis fight, he always made it exciting and was always happy to go to war.

I heard that he was planning on making a comeback a while ago, I never heard if he actually did or now though, I'm pretty sure that he was forced to quit because of a shadow showing up on a brain scan or something. Hardly surprising considering some of the shots to the noggin that he took.

Khan doesn't take punishment, he gets hit once wobbles and then gets hit again and is sparko, punishment it a gruelling long bloody fight with sustained heavy shots, that ain't Khan.

Margarito is risking losing that eye the more he keeps getting in that ring.

Gatti takes a lot of punishment, Yoshihiro Kamegai took a beating from Cotto.

Katsidis fought this year in Australia and won a decision over eight rounds
I was never really a fan but the hook he dropped Marquez with was great.

Khan got hit a lot against Maidana in the late rounds
And he went down a few times against Garcia
He was knocked cold by Prescott and Alvarez (must've been concussed)

I voted for Margarito because of the beatings he took against Mosley and Pacquiao. He took a lot of shots in some of the fights he won as well and was never that hard to hit. Gatti took a lot of punishment but he rarely faced big punches, Oscar was the only puncher he fought.

I'm gonna give Gatti a pass his pain is over RIP. Of the list Margarito has always taken punishment and was stumbling around this weekend one beating away from selling oranges on the corner. Khan just cashed out by the look of it. Way to many guys are maintaining on basically taking punishment..just enough to get them to the next 'big' fight where we all know they'll take more. Brian Vera, Soto Karass, Rosado all consummate warriors but get beat on like drums. Vivian Harris is still fighting that's a scary thought.

Margarito. The Pac bashing was prolonged and intense. His own toughness made it worse. I am one for wanting to see it until the end, but there was no enjoyment seeing it go on as long as it did. His eye just looks bad and I am not sure how he is allowed to continue seeing how it gets messed up every fight now. I don't think he will go blind, but in terms of the structure and wear and tear it isn't doing him any favors. He looks like a mad 16th century pirate.

Good stuff here. Also Matt Vanda. Lots of CTE waiting to happen. SAD
