Most people think that Holyfield did enough to beat Valuev
But he was probably ranked in the top five when Haye beat him.
Ruiz was 3-3 in his last six fights coming in against Haye
So he certainly wasn’t top five. Barrett was also 3-3 in his last six
And Chisora was 1-3 in his last four!
I did say at a stretch. 
Although I do believe Ruiz genuinely believed he could beat Haye as he came at a career low weight which showed he was motivated to beat what he must have believed was a blown up cruiserweight. That idea went all to pot when he was knocked down in the first round.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
