No, he's correct. Golovkin scrapped a razor close decision against Jacobs and that's it! Everyone else he's beaten has been complete garbage. I don't like Carl but he's spoken the truth here.

    Complete garbage is harsh.

GGG deserves his props for beaten everyone at his weight class but Fighting/bullying brook was a joke.

@imp no doubt he's beaten the best in his division but it's a very weak division. Jacobs is a very good fighter but the rest of the guys he's beaten have been average at best. Shame he wasn't around a few years ago when guys like Taylor, Miranda, Pavlik and Abraham were at the weight.

@Alpha Trout beat Cotto and Lara should have a win over Williams. Trout was unbeaten before he ran into Canelo whereas Jacobs had already been knocked cold by Pirog.

So what's your point? Pirog was a fantastic fighter. Comparing fighters opposition is not ideal. Lara should have lost to Molina, Trouts only good win was Cotto but you want to sh-t on GGG's record? You can't have in both ways. Angulo dropped Lara twice but Canelo couldn't put him down (although granted he had his track shoes on). Judging a fighter on recent form is more preferably to me.

I'm not pumping up Trout or Lara but they're both clearly better than guys like Macklin, Murray or Wade. The fights not far away now so we'll see who's right and I think you'll be surprised how easy this will be for Canelo.

Hey if Canelo wins I'll be one of the 1st to give him all the credit in the world (once I sober up). And by wins I mean no controversy. If it's somehow close and I disagree with the decision by a round or 2 either way I won't sh-t on Canelo or cry robbery. I hope your man enough to do the same.

Scrapping by Jacob's is better than scrapping by Lara and Trout for me.
