For some reason Canelo only fights twice a year now..the guy is in his peak and will now fight in 8 months time!

It's silly. And a missed opportunity to pick up the belt from Saunders in December.
Those are the ppv days of the year and any fight in-between jeopardises those dates which shows you their mentality and greed.

Jacobs should get active and be relevant again.
What, you think Jacobs doesn't want to keep the momentum going?
Worst thing he could've done was perform like he did as GGG.
Nobody will touch the poor cunt with a barge pole.
If I was him, I would relentlessly shout my mouth off about the top guys and talk my way into a big fight. Fuck it , it works for pricks like Macgregor, Bellew, Haye and just about every other twat around.
Action speaks louder than words, get in the ring and keep beating opponents. That is how you stay relevant.
It must be great to be as naive as you are. Please list me down, 5 opponents that Jacobs should fight?
And then we'll see how realistic it is to keep fighting and stay relevant!

Our Brock could fight him since he says he can beat GGG easy. The fight could be in New York as well.

martin Murray is a SMW and is nowhere near the top of the rankings. So what good does that do for Jacob's prospects at MW. Next.

Carnage in the crowd! Fans fight at Billy Joe Saunders vs Willie Monroe Jr as women and children caught up in ringside clashes

Fans at the Billy Joe Saunders vs Willie Monroe Jr fight were involved in a shocking and brutal scrap of their own.

While the main event at the London's Copper Box Arena saw Saunders retain his WBO world middleweight title with a comprehensive victory, the fighting wasn't confined to the ring.

As the clip you can see at the top of the page shows, several spectators were involved in an ugly brawl, with women and children caught up in the violence.

In the footage, one man can be clearly seen kicking someone on the floor, before others wade in with blows and end up on the floor.

Women can be heard screaming in fear, while one lady in a red dress appears to be knocked to the floor during the brawl.

Someone can be heard shouting "There's kids" in a futile attempt to calm the situation.

The ringside fight threatened to overshadow Saunders' achievement in retaining his title and putting himself in line for a super fight against either Gennady Golovkin or Saul Alvarez.

Saunders overcame a nasty cut to his nose in the fourth and was rarely in trouble, with the judges all giving it to him: 117-111, 115-114 and 117-112.

Monroe Jr was forced to soak up some excellent body work from the champion, with Saunders also displaying a crisp jab throughout.

The victory moves him to 25-0 as a professional and finally gives him the golden ticket to finally fight GGG or Canelo in a bid to find an undisputed middleweight king.

“It’s all fun and games, I can’t discredit the man. I felt a bit of ring rust. Thank you for Willie Monroe Jr,” said Saunders, before handing the microphone over to his son.

“Sorry for punching in the nuts,” said Saunders Jr, after clocking Monroe in the mid-section after yesterday’s weigh-in.

Murray fought on Saturday at SMW and was 1st reserve for the SMW World Boxing series tournament, that's why he fought on the undercard. besides , like I said , how would beating him help Jacob's status ? anybody else?

The point is that here you are saying "he should fight him or him", and it's not that easy. Jacobs DESERVES an elite opponent, but they're all avoiding him like the plague.
Canelo - won't go near him.
GGG - Doesn't want that again.
BJS - no way is he selling his title for anything less than what Canelo or GGG brings.
It shouldn't be allowed to happen. all 3 of them guys have no excuse now not to fight him, but the governing bodies allow them to do this.
Jacobs should be shouting from the roof tops that he "Beat GGG" (which I think he did) and that he would beat Canelo and Saunders with one hand tied behind his back.
to earn big money and get the big fights nowadays you have to talk as much shit as possible.

Not sure why Andy Lee is even being discussed here, the man is shit! Saunders is arguably the fourth best middleweight in the world however I'm not sure he'd be favoured against Lemieux or Charlo. Cotto might fancy picking up the WBO belt to set up a return with Canelo.

Whilst he does nothing he is slowly becoming irrelevant. Fight a journeyman if necessary.

Basically the African Americans the top guys don't want to fight will be forced to clear each other out. We've returned to 1900
