Haye should try to come in lighter than last time, he looked cumbersome and sluggish in the first few rounds of the first fight before his foot exploded

He looked like shit even before the leg went. He was slow, sluggish, his stance was wide and all of his punches had a loop to them. Low hands, leaning over his front foot at times... it was amateurish stuff from Haye to be honest and there's nothing he did to convince me he's an elite heavyweight. He was lucky he wasn't in there with Briggs or Fury because he'd have been properly taken out (same with Wilder and AJ) if Bellew was dangerous, Haye would have left the ring on a stretcher with those slow leaping attacks and wide shots.

I believe Haye was carrying the injury before the fight which is why he looked so bad.

He had a shit (in my opinion) trainer and if the rumours are true, he didn't do much training at all. I think he thought Bellew would just fall down when he let his hands go. He fought a sloppy and arrogant fight.

Can not blame the trainer for Haye looking shaky and unbalanced on that achilles which was why he was loading for the big shots so early.
