I think Kov beats him even after his losses.

Maybe although it’d be interesting to see how he handled the power
If you’re getting stopped by Ward then Stevenson would be dangerous.

I think so too, that left of Stevenson tho is lethal.

Although I would for sure still watch it and be interested, the Kovalev vs Stevenson fight has about completely died out for me. Stevenson hasn't been fighting top level fighters for at least a few years and Kovalev has to prove that the Ward loss didn't ruin him.

If Kov did what Stevenson has been doing for many years he still would be champion and not ruined. It is easier to defend your title against mandatories than take on real challenges as Kov did against Ward.

Kovalev has to feel bad about how the Ward series played out. The 1st could have gone either way, the 2nd had both guys robbed of the opportunity for a controversial free ending.

Ya cannot deny the one punch eraser of Stevenson but he has let so much slip by at this age. Played spectator while division was in motion. He talked Hopkins, had Kovalev super fight on a platter but jumped ship and has watched Beterbiev come in to title shot, Ward come and go and even Jack waltz in win strap and then drop it. Meanwhile he's blowing out the ghost of Fonfara.

I have high hopes for Beterbiev and I thought he was next in line for a title fight. What happened there?
