First of all, nowhere did anyone say that the United States or the West in general is absolutely perfect and without sin....but it is ok if you wish to take that belief and run with it because I know you will.

In Pakistan 1/5th of all brides are underage......soooo while I find the whole child bride thing to be horrible, I also take the time to note how big of an issue it actually is. Now the 11-15 and I'd say maybe up to 17 year olds getting married, there's no need for that and it's horrible that it occurs and it typically occurs because of extremely perverted "religious" practices of all faiths....Pentecostals are bad about it...crazy asses that they are. However, the overwhelming majority of "children" that get married are 16-17 years old and if one of those youngsters is marrying a 20 year old then I don't see a societal problem with it I mean I wouldn't want it for my own kids, but then again I don't want the government in my business or my future kids business.


It's funny to me that you are so adamant about making it out that the West and the United States in general are such horrible places and yet you want to welcome migrants here. Migrants from cultures which have far greater problems than child brides.

In this very thread you've posted at length about the KKK, spousal abuse et al in the United States and West...I've provided arguments about racism and spousal abuse being much worse in other places and yet you cannot discern if 1 culture is better than the other....that is a backhanded way of shitting on America and the West. I've yet to see you produce an argument for people being unable to tell which culture is better or if it's the other way round. On the other hand I've provided examples of specific cultures and how they operate in the world today and yeah some of them are barbaric truly nasty cultures, but you have made the thread asking the question "Some cultures are better than others ? Cases of the bubonic plague—which is spread through the bite of an infected flea and was known in medieval Europe as the Black Death—are reported every year in the epidemic season, which usually runs from September to April.
