Former World amateur Champion Artur Beterbiev challenges for the vacant IBF World Light-Heavyweight Title against Enrico Koelling.
Beterbiev (11-0, 11 KOs) has been fast-tracked to a World Title after just 11 fights, which speaks volumes about his reputation. He has already fought two former World Champions recording early knockouts against Tavoris Cloud and Gabriel Campillo in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
His opponent Enrico Koelling (23-1, 6 KOs) will be looking forward to testing his boxing skills against the Russian. The German fighter has only a single loss to Mirco Ricci back in 2015 and recently recorded back-to-back wins over rated contender Ryno Liebenberg in the last year.
The packed Light-Heavyweight division has been blown wide open after Andre Ward’s shock retirement, so Beterbiev will want to bank his 12th KO in a row and win a World Title that will catapult him to the summit of the division.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Saucedo just scored a nice 3rd round ko.

This also airs on ESPN but is preceded by College football...Alabama at Mississippi State. I like Beterbiev but he needs some serious activity and progression going on 32 years old. Koelling if anything absolutely dwarfs Beterbiev in rounds.
It also runs directly up against the Jacobs-Arias HBO card so cue the channel flipping.
