American TV is absolute peanuts compared to UK PPV, lets not be silly now. Now if you were comparing American PPV with UK PPV it would be a different matter entirely.
Unless for some unknown reason £10 million from the US is more special than £10 million from the UK then arguing that AJ "needs" America is beyond arrogant/stupid.
All these low numbers showed is Showtime subscribers weren't interested in a supposed mismatch with a French man that was screened on a Saturday afternoon from a foreign country. It's not a coincidence that all American based opponents have scored a higher rating.
Wlad's best ever HBO rating was against Jennings. How come a million and half Americans tuned in specifically for that fight when previous Wlad fights did an awful rating? Well it just so happens Jennings was an American, the fight took place in New York and was screened primetime. Coincidence? (
