It probably should be 50/50. I get that AJ can outsell Wilder, but Wilder has proven to be a legitimate fighter that has a real chance to beat AJ. I don’t really see either being the champion over the other. Them fighting each other is the only way to settle it.
Disagree.
60-40..possibly 55-45?
Who has x2 belts?
Who sells out stadiums?
I have no idea who is the best out of these two fighters but when it comes down to business, it's pretty obvious that AJ is the bigger name.
unfortunately this is how it is. on one hand Wilder is saying "give me this , give me that." and yeah, it's a unification between the top 2 in the division , so fair enough.
on the other hand , Joshua could say to Wilder "ok , YOU GIVE ME 30 million!" because that's what he would probably earn over here.
and that's without even discussing Where the fight would be held.
I'm not saying it's right or fair, but the reality is either Joshua gets a bigger slice of the pie and home advantage or It just doesn't happen.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
To take less than 50% for either one of them is humiliating. It seems that 50/50 is the best way to go here. Of course Joshua can sell more tickets.
AJ is the draw and becoming very well known to the American audience from what I see. For a guy who's had his last 2,3 ? 'mega fights' fall apart and is now lined up to face guys AJ knocked out a year + ago Wilder should be offering whatever it takes to force AJ into a showdown, not setting up fake loopholes to fight another stool warmer. Not saying he should take a suckers cut but for as confident as he is with his Tyson like *spit take* one hit bricks he can consider it an investment.
Wladimir gave 50/50 splits to hate and ibragimov to make sure the unification fights happened, not completely relevant but wotever......
I fear this will be Riddick Bowe V Lennox Lewis all over again.
The two fighters' camps will fart about, whining about percentages & paydays etc, instead of just making arguably the hottest fight in the sport right now, meanwhile, one of both of them will probably get derailed along the way & if they do fight, no one will give a damn, or much like Bowe/Lewis, never fight at all, then spend the next twenty five years blaming each other for the fight not happening.

Wilder and his team are completely missing the bigger picture.
If AJ beats Parker next then he'll hold 3 belts to Wilders 1 instead of 2 v 1.
That's only gonna strengthen AJ and Hearns hand in any future negotiation.
AJ is box office Wilder isn't and has been badly promoted to the point where the man on the street doesn't even know who he is.
Pretty sure the USA have not had many unknown Heavyweight champions in the past.
If Wilders as good as he thinks he shouldn't hesitate but I'm actually with Swanson on this one and would love to know what exactly Hearn did offer him.
If a 60-40 split in AJs favour was on offer then I'd say it's Wilder doing the ducking.
Hope this gets made in 2018 while both fighters are in their prime.
