In terms of my own situation I see two parents that were completely incompatible from the start. A prime example of two people that collectively managed to cause a lot of trauma all because they failed to consider the impact that their own behavior would have on children. If anything my understanding of that situation only confirms my belief that people without means or any decent reason to be having children should not be having them. It is selfish and inconsiderate not just on the kids but the state who ends up having to subsidize the lifestyle. My own beliefs are that everything should be done to minimise any of that ever happening.

I am cool with people having children who are genuinely devoted to one another and children who are raised with security, love and confidence. However, we all know that this is becoming less and less common and that to me is a tragedy. To have 6 kids and have them trying to escape to welfare states. That is an absolute disaster and it makes me angry. How dare those women and yes, how dare those men do that! It boggles my mind and instead of saying 'How about we stop this nonsense!' you have lefties saying it is me who is selfish. I am not selfish. I consider my impact to the extreme. I don't demand that people be like me. I do demand that nobody have children unless they have thought about it properly and will never abandon them or put them through things that never needed to happen.

The notion that it is an accident is all too true, but not a good enough excuse. That is why as an adult I have consciously rejected the path my parents took and refuse to ever countenance the possibilities of 'a mistake'. A child should never be a mistake! It is the most serious thing you can ever do in life. To bring a life into this world. A being who has no say in the laws, the methods of parenting, the trauma that will inevitably result from poverty, constant moving, the lack of father figures etc. To pass it off as an accident is just wrong. It isn't difficult to avoid accidents.

In the sense that women seem to be attracted to men who won't respect them. That to me is problematic and their fault. Not all men are scallywags, but many are and a woman typically has the say in who she dates. If you take the time to court someone, to build a relationship, over time you know who they are. If you get pregnant in a month, well that is terrible judgement.

Oh absolutely. We are all nothing pretending to be something only to return to nothing. Gotta get over it.
