I honestly think it will happen and am somewhat surprised that people aren’t more excited. Floyd is old yes, but if Floyd really does train and gets good take down defense he could possibly pull off an upset. I think him going to UFC is much less a circus show than Conor coming to boxing.

MMA is mixed martial arts. People come from all fighting styles to compete. Boxing is a fighting style. That’s not weird. Boxing is a specific fighting style. Someone who is a great MMA fighter but relies on ground fighting would have no chance in boxing. So why is it so ridiculous for a boxer to try and fight in a mixed martial arts competition?

Floyd is old, multi millionaire, risk averse and would not want to be humiliated which is what would happen.
