Derevyanchenko on undercard really being fed a no hoper. Wonder if they are prepping for a Monroe Jr fight.
Bronze is more PC than Brown I suppose

I think they're just keeping Derevyanchenko busy after Andrade pulled out of a December fight I think and then out of the negotiations entirely.

This is the annoying part, you have Derevyanchenko, Jacobs, Charlo, Saunders and Murata all fighting roughly a month apart of each other but none are fighting each other. This tip toeing through the tulips stuff needs to stop.

Very true . Wilder would be laughed out of the ring naming himself after a legend. Disappointed in Jacobs just considering Sulecki is coming up again. He killed his momentum off Golovkin in a fight where he proved he belonged and arguably won, just keeping his seat warm here though. I honestly don't see Andrade doing much at 160 but is proving he is very good at pulling out of big fights.

and now have Tiny Tim stuck in my head. Thanks bud .

Lol sorry boss but it seemed appropriate to describe the delicacy with which these elite middleweights are dancing around each other.

It's not possible that Ortiz will win because then it will derail the AJ fight. Too much money involved to sacrifice.

I don't know what to make of Wilder. I hated him at first and then sort of was in all of his power then I hated him again and now I am wondering if he is a nut job just like Tyson Fury and that he has psyched himself into never losing ever and therefore he may really be in here for the Long Haul but I think he will go into Hollywood movies in the next two to three years after making a hundred million in boxing and retiring undefeated

Wilder weighs in only 214 lb. Very light for such a tall fighter.

    Ortiz looks deadly serious.

I thought Wilder would win this easy. Maybe it will be a closer fight.

Imo wilder is going in with the same mindset as the 1st Stiverne fight. He knows he can't box with a guy with Ortiz' skills so he has to use his superior speed and movement.
Ive jus watched an old interview with wilder where he was saying you have to beat Ortiz by moving and not standing with him. Judging by wilders weight it's obvious this is what he's going to do. He also mentioned the Scott fight and Ortiz inability to cut off the ring. That was two years ago too.

Ortiz was a little heavy and I can see him struggling to close the distance in this fight, However I'm gonna go for the underdog to pull off the upset. And the new....

Prediction: Wilder will win by KO/TKO in the 7th to 9th round.

Ortiz is too old, too slow, is shorter with a shorter reach, and is an easy target because he doesn't have good footwork any more. Besides, Haymon's officials including the referee will be there to help Wilder if needed. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a too-quick stoppage in favor of the American.
