I find it interesting he didn't go the Tete route.
If I had a choice of going between Jamie McDonnell and Tete, no disrespect to McDonnell, but I would do the same.

Tete will get some leverage with clear Navarez win next month. Inoue goes trinket collecting and maybe convinces he and Warren to come over next. Outstanding fight needs to materialize.

Tete has a couple of Copper Box undercards left for Yarde/Dubios so Warren can put "world championship boxing" on the flyers before he's done with him yet.

Guarantee Frank, with his bemused face on and a fist full of emails, will be telling Kugan how Inoue refused a great offer to face Tete, which in reality means he offered the Japanese mob peanuts to come to Britain and wanted options should they take the belt off him.

I would've bet my goolies McDonnell would be the first bantam to step up to the plate against Inoue. He's made a good career out of being willing to fight anyone, anywhere for a fair few bob.

Yea McDonnell gets credit for facing top opposition, some of those wins are debatable tho. This will be a massacre.
