Watched this on ESPN years ago. Duran was seething, more than normals, because he got beat by Esteban de Jesus and lost his undefeated record and gets knock down again. Duran visited Esteban de Jesus in hospital when he was dying.

He was a great boxer, but Conteh was more interested in going out on the lash by then than training properly, so to even hang with Saad proved his class. 5 knockdowns tooOriginally Posted by Master

Conteh was probably on the slide but liked Saad Muhammad's technique and skills.He was a great boxer, but Conteh was more interested in going out on the lash by then than training properly, so to even hang with Saad proved his class. 5 knockdowns too
