Vazquez was an excellent fighter. I fought Rojas was the real deal; Wilfredo showed otherwise and it turned out Eloy was not even the best in Venezuela in the era eh Antonio?!

I'll be honest I never knew that much about Rojas, and Venezuela isn't exactly a world hotbed of boxing champions, is it. I do know, however, that it was a pretty good fight, and Vazquez was a great champion. Unfortunately he ran into Naseem later on, but so did a lot of other good featherweights.

I need to watch the full fight. It shows Leonard could mix it with a brutal Duran and give him a good fight.

Even in his loss Leonard showed his heart.

Watched the first 3 rounds. Leonard won the first with his boxing skills and great foot work but Duran battered and hurt Leonard in the 2nd with a left hook and carried it on in the 3rd round.
