I not seen one supermarket with a display of England gear to buy and have only seen one car with flags on last weekend - the guy driving it was about 50 and looked like Raymond Babbitt


How times have changed

People waited too long to get their flag licenses

It certainly is very low key but that is a good thing. Low expectations means we cannot be hurt and getting out of the group and winning a knock out match would be a bonus.

Maaaaaaaan you got to be in it to win it, show some pride and expectations for your boys!!!! They've got as good of a chance as anyone else does, a hell of a lot better chance than America has.

Yeah.... that one raised my eyebrow as well.

I'm on a quest to watch as many games as possible, and watched this one. What a bludgeoning Russia gave Saudi Arabia. The announcer nailed it when he said the final whistle couldn't come fast enough for the Saudis.

Did you catch Putin all smiles sitting with the FIFA president and the Saudi Crown Prince? LOL...... on that 5th goal Putin gave that "Michael Jordan shrug" as if to say..... "What can we do? They're ALL going in."
