@master that's a really good deal for a yearly train pass. If i bought a train pass here it would cost me about 150 british pounds per month. That would be something like 1800 pounds per year!
i thought mines was too much, it would be another £300 per year if it included bus which is why i take the bike instead as it pays for itself in the long run.

there are major interstate highways between where i live and where i work and there are no pedestrian walkways or even bicycle lanes allowed on those major interstates. Plus going through the lincoln tunnel into manhattan you cannot walk or ride bicycles
your country is so behind on promoting cycling as an alternative transport to cars.
